This most popular form of yoga is predominantly about balance and equilibrium, like
hot and cold, day and night.
Ha-tha translated literally means sun and moon where two opposites are blended in
a gentle way to bring about peace. The mind and breath have a close relationship
and this is explored through an asana practice lead by Justine.
The practice of hatha yoga also balances our mental and spiritual energies. On a
physical level, we improve our strength and flexibility aswell as suppleness.
No previous experience of yoga necessary as all levels are catered for.
Justine is also running monthly workshops at O Caminho Natural where specific topics are
covered in-depth to help develop a yoga practice. Pick up a leaflet in store or contact

Workshop on the Five Tibetan Rites. (Price 10 euros) Various dates - please enquire.
The Five Tibetian Rites are easy but very efficient exercises whichhave their roots in yoga.
They take about 15 min. a day but those 15 min. can have a huge influence on the everyday life
of the person practising them.
The aim of the rites is to regulate and harmonise the energy flow in the human body by
regulating the chakras, which helps to gain more power, prevent illness and to slow down the
aging process or even reverse it, through affecting hormone release within the endocrine system.
You need to bring a yoga mat or something similar. Please book as space is limited.
